Cabletron Systems Corporation recently announced its new line of microgrid products. The high performance of the switching hub and the low cost of the shared hub respectively provide a strategic platform for users to migrate from a shared hub solution to a high-performance switching system. Two new technologies have been introduced into the product. One is to provide fast Internet services; the other is to enable users to configure low-cost 10 trillion Ethernet.
