淞沪大战是中国抗日战争初期的一场重大战役。作家邓贤历时十年之久,多次深入当年战地重新进行采访,为求证某个历史细节而反复奔波,完成了报告文学新作《帝国震撼》。书中再现了淞沪之战第一枪、驾机撞击敌舰的英雄飞行员沈崇诲、战斗到最后一个人的“姚子青营”、血战四行仓库的“八百壮士”等爱国将士惊天地泣鬼神的英勇壮举,正是这些普普通通的中国军人和平民,用他们的血肉之躯筑起了一道抗击侵略者的钢铁长城。
