英语课程标准目标要求能读懂简单读物和报刊、杂志,克服生词障碍,理解大意。能根据阅读目的运用适当的阅读策略。但由于农村中学学生使用英语环境面狭小,利用频率低、学生手头资料少、课外补充阅读少且难以控制等诸多原因,学生的阅读能力远没有得到大幅度提高。
The goal of the English course standard is to read simple reading materials, newspapers and periodicals, overcome the barriers of new words and understand the meaning. Appropriate reading strategies can be used for reading purposes. However, the reading ability of rural middle school students has not been greatly improved due to many reasons such as the narrow English environment, the low utilization frequency, the lack of information at hand, the extra-curricular supplementary reading and the difficulty of control.
