金川县竹厂沟自然保护区总面积51089.5公顷,保护区活立木总蓄积2038460立方米,野生动植物资源相当丰富,群落结构良好,国家一、二级重点保护和省级重点保护野生动物及国家一、二级重点保护野生植物种类较多,并具有相当重要的保护价值、科研价值。该文在科学考察的基础上,对保护区的自然生态、管理、效益等因素进行了科学评价,为自然保护区的建立和建设提供了可靠依据。
Zhuchuangou Nature Reserve in Jinchuan County has a total area of 51,089.5 hectares and a total reserve of 2,038,460 cubic meters of living wood in the reserve.
