胡锦涛总书记在党的十七大报告中,明确提出要深入贯彻落实科学发展观,积极构建社会主义和谐社会。这是对我们党执政理念的重大发展和提升。高校作为社会的细胞,培养人才的场所,是引领社会发展与文明的重要基地,理应担负起构建和谐社会的重任。构建和谐校园是构建和谐社会的重要基础,是坚持用科学发展观统领高等教育发展的必然要求,是高校党政工组织面临的共同任务。作为党联系职工群众的桥梁纽带,高校工会组织,应该在和谐校园的建设中,发挥出自己的积极作用。
In his report to the 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, General Secretary Hu Jintao explicitly proposed that the scientific concept of development should be thoroughly implemented and a socialist harmonious society be actively built. This is a major development and promotion of the concept of governing the party. As a cell of society and a place to cultivate talents, colleges and universities are important bases for leading social development and civilization and should assume the important task of building a harmonious society. Constructing a harmonious campus is an important foundation for building a harmonious society and an inevitable requirement of upholding the development of higher education with the scientific development concept. It is also a common task facing the party and government organizations in colleges and universities. As a bridge between the party and the masses of workers and staff members, colleges and trade union organizations should play their positive role in the construction of a harmonious campus.
