邓小平同志多次强调,四项基本原则,是立国之本,在任何情况下,都不能动摇。实践证明,四项基本原则,集中地代表着全国人民的根本利益,体现着最根本的党性原则。它不仅直接制约着四个现代化建设的性质和方向,同时,也直接制约着我国军事科学的性质和发展方向。坚持四项基本原则,这是军事科学研究的基本点,在实际工作中必须坚定不移地坚持和贯彻。
As repeatedly stressed by Comrade Deng Xiaoping, the four basic principles are the foundation for establishing a nation. We can not waver under any circumstances. Facts have proved that the four basic principles, which collectively represent the fundamental interests of the people throughout the country, embody the most fundamental principle of party spirit. It not only directly restricts the nature and direction of the four modernizations, but also directly restricts the nature and development direction of our military science. To uphold the four cardinal principles is the basic point of military scientific research. We must unswervingly uphold and carry it out in our practical work.
