在集成和大规模集成电路中相互连接图案太复杂,因而严重地限制了微型设备的发展。可能解决的一条途径是利用某种物质的体效应。这里表明,半导体材料中发生的一些体效应如何用来替代那些目前主要由集成线路产生的功能。
Interconnecting patterns in integrated and large scale integrated circuits is too complicated, severely limiting the development of miniature devices. One possible solution is to take advantage of the physical effects of a substance. Here we show how some of the body effects that occur in semiconductor materials can be used to replace those that are currently mainly generated by integrated circuits.
