By launching OS / 2 Warp in October 1994, IBM has embarked on the most aggressive effort to convince users to adopt OS / 2 on their desktops. So far, IBM has sold about 6 million sets of OS / 2, but this is only one-tenth of Microsoft’s Windows3.x sales. Lee Reiswig, president of Personal Software Product Group at IBM, interviewed Michael Vizard and Andy Patrizio, editor of the weekly computing page layout for PCWeek after a press conference on the strategic IBMOS / 2 strategy in New York.
