截至发稿时为止,本刊收到了由全国20个省1个自治区的94个城市的读者写来的意见表。这些读者是高等学校师生,高、初中教师和学生,师范和技术学校教师,药学工作者和化验工作者,部队中的文化教师及各方面的自修青年。虽然有一些地区的意见表尚未寄来,我们认为这次读者意见的搜集相当广泛和深入;这些意见是有着很大的代表性的。因此,这些意见的提出,对本刊工作的改进,将起着很大的作用。本刊常务编委会经过慎重地整理归纳,三次讨论了读者的意见,今将初步结果简述於后: (1)关於本刊编辑方针问题,读者有两种不同的意见: 1) 把现有刊物分成“为高等学校”和“为中等学校”服务的两种刊物。这样就可以解决高等学校师生不愿看中学教学栏和中等学校师生看不懂“专论”的困难。 2)同意目前的编辑方针,这样可以使中学教师对高教情况和目前科学发展的方向有机会了解和钻研,加强高等学校和中等学校化学教学的联系。
As of press time, this journal has received written comments from readers in 94 cities in 1 autonomous region in 20 provinces. These readers are teachers and students from colleges and universities, high and junior high school teachers and students, teachers of teachers’ and technical schools, pharmacists and laboratory workers, cultural teachers in the armed forces, and all kinds of self-study young people. Although there are some regions where the comments have not been sent yet, we think the collection of readers’ comments is extensive and in-depth. These opinions are very representative. Therefore, the submission of these opinions will play a significant role in improving the work of this magazine. The editorial board of our journal, after careful deliberation and generalization, discussed the opinions of the readers three times, and summarized the preliminary results in the following: (1) There are two different opinions about the editorial policy of the editors: 1) Publications are divided into “for colleges and universities” and “for secondary schools,” two publications. This will solve the problem that teachers and students in colleges and universities are reluctant to read the middle school teaching columns and the teachers and students in secondary schools can not understand “monographs.” 2) Agree with the current editorial guideline so that secondary school teachers will have the opportunity to understand and study the situation of higher education and the current direction of scientific development, and strengthen the connection between chemistry teaching in higher schools and secondary schools.
