简笔画具有内容简明、突出主题、形象直观的特点,能很好地启迪学生思维,培养学生的能力,发挥文字所不能代替的独特作用。因此,在数学课堂教学中,根据教学内容和教学要求,遵循儿童的认识规律,适度、自然、和谐地运用简笔画,这样不仅能将所学的知识清晰地展现在学生眼前,帮助学生理解和掌握所学的知识,还能使学生有新颖感,吸引其注意力,学后印象深刻,易于记忆和再现,从而提高课堂教学效益。这里仅就九年义务教育六年制小学数学第一册“5的认识”运用简笔画教学的尝试,粗略地介绍其做法。
