2009年5月26日,湖北省第十一届人大常委会第10次会议分组审议省政府《关于我省积极应对国际金融危机,努力保增长保民生保稳定工作情况的报告》。这是自国际金融危机爆发以来,省人大常委会第二次听取和审议省政府关于如何应对国际金融危机的报告。2008年11月,在金融危机爆发不久,省十一届人大常委会第7次会议就专门听取和审议了省政府关于应对金融危机情况的报告。接着,省人大常委会领导带头深入实际,调查研究,提出建议,对政府工作给予大力支持。半年过去了,常委会组成人员又有哪些新的意见和建议,请看本刊记者田晓杏采写的报道。
On May 26, 2009, the 10th meeting of the 11th NPC Standing Committee of Hubei Province examined and approved the report of the provincial government on “Actively coping with the international financial crisis in our province and making efforts to ensure the stability of the life insurance for the people.” This is the second time since the outbreak of the international financial crisis, the provincial people’s congress Standing Committee listened to and considered the provincial government’s report on how to deal with the international financial crisis. In November 2008, shortly after the outbreak of the financial crisis, the 7th meeting of the 11th National People’s Congress Standing Committee listened to and deliberated on the provincial government’s report on tackling the financial crisis. Then, the leaders of the Provincial People’s Congress Standing Committee took the lead in deepening their studies, making suggestions and giving strong support to the government work. Six months have passed, and what new opinions and suggestions have been made on the members of the Standing Committee.
