中华人民共和国国际科学技术合作奖(简称为国际科技合作奖)是根据1993年7月经全国人大常委会八届二次会议通过的《中华人民共和国科学技术进步法》的规定,由国务院设立的国家级科技奖励。它的宗旨是奖励在中外科技合作与交流中,为推进科技进步,增进中外科技界合作与友谊作出突出贡献的外国科学家、工程技术人员和科技管理专家等。国际科技合作奖由科技部负责组织实施,并由国家科学技术奖励工作办公室负责办理。 国际科技合作奖候选人由各省、自治区、直辖市人民政府,国务院各部委、各直属机构、中国人
The International Science and Technology Cooperation Award of the People's Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as the International Science and Technology Cooperation Award) is based on the “Science and Technology Progress Law of the People's Republic of China” adopted by the Second Session of the Eighth Central Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference in July 1993 and is governed by the State Technology awards. Its purpose is to reward foreign scientists, engineers and technologists, science and technology management experts who have made outstanding contributions to promoting scientific and technological progress and enhancing the cooperation and friendship between Chinese and foreign scientific and technological circles in the cooperation and exchange of science and technology between China and foreign countries. The International Cooperation Award for Science and Technology is organized and implemented by the Ministry of Science and Technology and is handled by the State Science and Technology Award Office.
