在旅游地理教学中,学生的地图使用能力、空间思维和想象能力都是培养的重点方向,这不但能够起到培养学生综合素质的作用,而且能够对学生未来工作的职业素质和能力培养方面起到重要的基础作用。运用地图是旅游地理教学的重要手段。利用地图可以培养学生学习旅游地理的兴趣;有利于学生建立地理空间概念;便于理解地理事物的规律;有利于学生掌握地理技能;有利于培养学生的思维、想象能力。
