碗豆在青海主要分布在山区,种植面积约六十万亩,占农作物摇种面积10%,在轮作中占有重要地位。但碗豆单产不高,不稳,品种丰产潜力有限是其原因之一。为了育成新品种,采用了CO60r—射线照射碗豆干种子,以期获得优良突变品种。经过几年研究,选出了二批早熟、高产、抗旱碗豆新品系,有的突变品种已大面积用于生产,种植面积约八百多亩。一试验材料与选育经过一九六六年利用中国农科院原子能所钻源r—射线一万五千伦和二万伦剂量照射绿
The peas are mainly distributed in the mountainous area in Qinghai. The planting area is about 600,000 mu, accounting for 10% of the crop rock planting area, occupying an important position in the rotation. However, the yield of pea beans is not high and unstable, and the limited potential of high yield varieties is one of the reasons. In order to cultivate a new variety, we used CO60r-ray to irradiate the seeds of dried bean curd so as to obtain excellent mutant varieties. After several years of research, two batches of new lines of early-maturing, high-yielding and drought-resistant bowl peas were selected. Some of the mutant varieties have been widely used in production with a planting area of about 800 mu.
