9月底是SCO公司财政年度结算日,其北京代表处总经理刘博在中秋前夕向新闻界宣布,今年SCO在中国市场增长率会达到80%,其本人成为SCO总部唯一一个全球最佳员工。SCO公司已成为PC机上UNIX操作系统的最大厂商,在中国,其产品已成功切入了银行系统,自今年7月7日SCO的合资公司UNIX中国公司与中国工商银行签订了全面合作协议以来,9月8日又再次与中国建设银行签约购买1000套UNIXWare 2及OpenServer 5等系统软件1000套。刘博总经理向记者保证,SCO明年在中国的增长速度下会低于80%。
