公务员待遇终身制是在特定历史条件下的产物,其实质是特权私有化,在更为强调民主平等的当代社会,公务员待遇终身制所提供给部分人的特权,带来了诸多的消极影响,不仅给国家财政造成沉重的负担,与此同时,强化了整个社会的“官本位”意识,并造成了新的社会不公平。对于公务员待遇终身制所带来的问题已经引起越来越多的关注,对其改革已势在必行。
The civil service pay is a product of life under certain historical conditions. In essence, it is the privatization of privileges. In the contemporary society, which emphasizes democratic equality, the privilege given to some people by the life-long civil servant system has brought a lot of negative effects. It not only imposes a heavy burden on the state treasury, but at the same time reinforces the “official standard” awareness of the entire society and creates new social injustices. The problems brought by the life-long system of civil service benefits have drawn more and more attention and the reform of them has become imperative.
