少数民族广播电视是我国广播电视事业的组成部分，是中国广播电视体系中一个富有特色的门类．本文概述了我国少数民族广播电视的发展历史和现状，分析了我国乡民族的国情与少数民族广播电视的关系，阐释了我国少数民族广播电视的特殊地位和作用、节目模式及其依据，我国少数民族广护电视的基本特点以及办好乡数民族广播电视必须注意的几个问题。文章指出：广播电视在我国少数民族地区具有特殊的重要战略地位，在意识形态领域中肩负着重大使命．少数民族广播电视具有长久的生命力，在新时期，它正面临着一个空前的发展机遇．要办好少数民族广播电视，各级党委、政府必须高度认识少数民族广播电视的特殊重要性，学会运用广播电视指导工作，要采取切实有效精施加强对广播电视工作的领导，不断增加对其投入．从事这一工作的同志要有鲜明的“政治家办台”的观念；要坚持正确的舆论导向；在事业建设上从实际出发，树立辩证观点；要建设好一支包括汉族和其他各民族知识分子在内的民族广播电视队伍．
Minority radio and television is an integral part of China’s radio and television industry and is a distinctive category in China’s radio and television system.
