Mine pressure is an important factor that affects the size of mine waterproof coal pillar. The destruction of waterproof coal pillar is the result of the combined effect of rock pressure, water pressure and the physical-mechanical characteristics of coal pillar itself. The article also gives the formula of reasonable waterproof coal pillar.
