早在1988年,邓小平同志就提出了“科学技术是第一生产力”的科学论断。在世纪之交,知识经济浪潮的涌起,进一步印证了小平同志的远见卓识。这一具有真理性、预见性的科学论断,生动地揭示了科学技术所具有的那种先决性、动力性的本质,深刻阐明了其无所不在的渗透价值和极具冲击力的力量,指明了我国必须依靠科技走向现代化、走向世界、走向未来的道路。为了深化对这一科学论断的理解和认识,探索科技发展之路,迎接知识经济时代的来临,指导和推进我们的经济建设,本刊从此期起与宁波市科学技术委员会合办“科技之光”专拦,希望社会各界踊跃来稿。
