用机械清管器清管,最担心的是通过未加挡条的三通时被卡住,造成事故。为了避免上述事故发生,通常要在三通的支管上加挡条,这一作法已经成为惯例,到目前为止,世界上还没有一个国家提出不加挡条的规定。当然在多大的支管上加挡条,各国又有不同的规定。例如,美国规定支管直径为主管直径的25％以上的都要加挡条。我国的规定更严,是凡三通支管直径为100mm和100mm以上的都应加挡条,至于其他各国的规定则大同小异。
