稻瘟病是我县水稻主要病害之一,近几年来都有不同程度的发生。1972年发病与为害程度,比1971年有所增加,如洛东公社据不完全统计:早稻发病面积1,465亩,其中损失在5～20%的有247亩,损失达20%以上的有177亩,颗粒无收的16亩;晚稻发病面积1,700多亩,损失粮食约8万多斤。但有的公社发病面积较小,如新丰公社发病最轻,穗颈瘟平均仅0.61%,病情指数为0.39,比1971年有所减轻。
Rice blast is one of the major diseases of rice in our county, and in recent years all have different degrees of occurrence. In 1972, the incidence and the degree of harm increased from 1971. For instance, according to the incomplete statistics of the Luodong commune, the incidence of early rice is 1,465 mu, of which 247 mu is from 5 to 20% of the losses and 177 mu is the loss of more than 20% , 16 acres of grain crop; late rice disease area of 1,700 mu, loss of food about 80,000 kilos. However, the incidence of some communes is relatively small, such as Xinfeng commune, the lightest incidence of panicle blast averaged only 0.61%, disease index was 0.39, lighter than in 1971.
