现实生活中,秋千的悠荡、钟锤的摆动、发声物体的颤动、弹簧的伸缩等运动现象都有以下特点:①运动方式不断重复;②运动总是围绕着某个中心位置;③运动线路是直线或弧线。这三个特点符合于物理学对物体的一种运动现象——振动所下定义,所以上述的运动都属于振动。物体在振动时,具有三个基本物理量:振幅、周期和频率。这三者决定着物体的振动效果。
