一部纪录长片《归途列车》,让范立欣迅速在国内外成为行业内的焦点人物。该片在阿姆斯特丹国际电影节中获得全球纪录片最高奖项-伊文思奖。这是历史上首次有华人导演获得此殊荣。之后范立欣凭借该片更是势不可挡的在包括旧金山国际电影节、洛杉矶亚美电影节、维多利亚电影节、圣丹斯电影节等几十个电影节中获得了最佳纪录片、最佳摄影等六十多个奖项。更成为继李安之后第二他闯入美国导演工会奖评选的华人导演,也是第一个能在这一美国最富盛名的专业奖项中纪录片奖的华人导演。而关于这部纪录片背后的故事,又有多少能被人们了解和接受?
A record feature film, “Return Train,” made Fan Lixin quickly become a focal point in the industry both at home and abroad. The film won the world’s highest documentary award at the Amsterdam International Film Festival - the Evans Award. This is the first time in history that a Chinese director has won this award. Since then, Fan Lixin with the film is overwhelming, including the San Francisco International Film Festival, Losangeles Asian American Film Festival, Victoria Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival and other dozens of film festival won the best documentary, best photography and sixty Multiple awards. Becoming the second Chinese director to be named the second director of the American Directors Guild Awards following Ang Lee and the first Chinese director to be the documentary winner of one of America’s most prestigious professional awards.
