1993年11月在君津3号高炉(容积4063m~3)上进行了一次高喷煤比试验。试验设备是与2号高炉共用的在线设备。为试验新建了一条喷吹管路,采用两级分配器(一级1个,二级4个),喷枪为未冷却的单层管,插入距风口端部300mm的位置。高喷煤比控制要点有三条:(1)控制热量比和布料,保持炉子上部的良好透气性;(2)使用高还原性烧结矿,维持炉子下部的良好透气性,(3)提高焦炭强度,抑制呆区内焦末的增加。为实现上述操作要点,设计了以下操作条件:
