今天,倘若询问人们的云南印象,答案会是截然两重的。有人说那里是色彩斑斓的香格里拉,正如滇国大地上那个芬芳的地名一样,这里应当有着最旖旎的风光、最动人的传说、最轻盈的少女……所有的想象力在此地尽情发挥似乎都嫌不够。另一些人则在心中自觉不自觉地将它与“夷边地”相连。也难怪偏见丛生,沈从文在《湘西·引子》中曾说:要人们谈谈对湘西的印象,回答不过是那里“是个苗区,同时又是个匪区”a罢了。
Today, if you ask people’s impression of Yunnan, the answer will be completely different. Some people say there is a colorful Shangri-La, just as the fragrant place names on the Dian Kingdom, there should be the most exquisite scenery, the most touching legends, the lightest young girls ... all the imagination to play here seems to be too not enough. Others in the mind consciously or unconsciously connect it with “border land”. No wonder the prejudices, Shen Congwen said in the “Xiangxi · Yinzi”: people want to talk about the impression of Xiangxi, but there is “there is a Miao district, but also a bandit area” a nothing.
