底模是承受钢模整体自重量和混凝土构件重量的重要部件。在钢模连同构件吊运过程中,如吊索长短不一,或安装时支点有高低,都将使底模受到相当的弯距或扭距,因此,底模必须具有良好的刚性,以免因钢模在受到弯、扭时变形过大而导致混凝土预制构件产生裂缝,除此之外,底模的结构设计上通常也充分考虑到减轻自重量,保证工作尺寸、制造工艺简便等因素。
