2002年在山东省青岛市外资企业招聘洽淡会上,一家塑料制品公司给高级塑料模具技工开出了年薪16万元的“天价”,但无人能拿到;无独有偶前不久在深圳市公布当年度劳动力市场指导价位,硕士研究生的月薪比高级钳工低了800元;广州市“十五”规划需要技师10万人,而目前不足8000人,其中高级技师不足300人。由此我们可以看出,目前我国技术工人,尤其是高级技工正处于一种青黄不接的阶段。在两会期间一些代表也提到这个问题,他们指出:一些企业盼来了订单却不敢接单;许多工厂的生产线比国际著名公司的还要先进,但生产出来的产品根本不能和人家
