Latent autoimmune diabetes in adults (LADA) is an adult onset, slow-growing autoimmune type 1 diabetes named 1993, accounting for about 10% to 15% of clinical type 2 diabetes. Its early clinical Performance resembles type 2 diabetes, but islet β cells suffer from slow immune destruction leading to insulin deficiency.
