According to the Peruvian Exporters’ Association, the value of mango exports increased 27.2% from January to August 2014 to a total of 119.9 million U.S. dollars, ranking the fourth largest exporter in the agricultural and agribusiness sector. According to the Peruvian Exporters’ Association, mango exports account for 5% of total exports of the agribusiness sector. Pear exports ranked first, accounting for 12% of total exports. Followed by grapes, accounting for 9% of total exports. Asparagus ranked third, accounting for 8% of total exports. According to the Peruvian Exporters’ Association, Peru exported a total of 466 products.
