This article introduces the construction arrangement and implementation of the project of continuing construction and water saving reconstruction (2015) of the main canal of Hetao Irrigation District in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and analyzes the winter construction arrangement skills to discuss the winter construction considerations and analysis methods of channel engineering and further optimize construction.
