研究了三种对虾(白对虾Penaeus setiferus 、万氏对虾P.vannamei和蓝对虾P.stylirostris)精荚形成所需的时间.精荚形成过程可分为四个阶段,每阶段持续的时间与种类及眼柄是否切除有关.用人工或电刺激法摘除精荚朱切除眼柄的雄性个体,其形成含有成熟精子的精荚所需时间分别是万氏对虾2~4d,蓝对虾4~6d,白对虾5~7d.切除单侧眼柄的白对虾精荚形成时间可缩短两天.精荚摘除方式对万氏对虾新精荚的形成时间无大的影响.但对于白对虾,电刺激法摘除精英的个体新精荚形成的时间要明显慢于自然交尾的个体.
