旅游纪念品是旅游商品的重要组成部分之一,是凸显旅游目的地社会形态、民族性格、民族文化、民族审美、民族风情、宗教信仰、工艺文化等典型特征的最为有效的途径;高职旅游院校是培养旅游专业人力资源的摇篮,旅游纪念品的设计与研发是提升旅游目的地旅游资源潜在价值和当地工艺文化价值重要的媒介之一;本文就高职旅游院校教学特点来展开如何设计此门课程的教学任务。
