电视剧《毛岸英》真实地表现了毛岸英短暂而辉煌的一生,为当代青年树立了楷模。作品播出后,在社会上产生了强烈反响。日前,中央电视台、中国电视艺术委员会、中国电视艺术家协会在京联合举办研讨会,邀请部分影视评论家和该剧主创人员参加,对作品在艺术创作上所取得的成就和受到观众欢迎的原因进行了深入探讨。革命历史题材形象塑造的新标杆中国电视艺术委员会副主任兼秘书长王丹彦着重分析了该剧在传记体革命历史题材电视剧创作方面所取得的成就。她认为:
