1997年1月15日,北京人民大会堂里鲜花盛开,凯歌高奏,全国双拥模范城(县)命名大会正在这里隆重举行。来自科尔沁草原上的古城洮南市委书记王锐胸戴大红花,眼含激动的热泪从党和国家领导人手中接过“双拥模范城”金匾。这金光闪闪的金匾饱含着这位拥军尚武书记许许多多感人的故事。
January 15, 1997, Beijing’s Great Hall of the flowers in full bloom, triumphaging, the National Double support model city (county) naming convention is being held here. Wang Rui, secretary of the Taonan municipal Party committee from the ancient city of Taorun, on Horqin grassland, was wearing a large red flower with tears of excitement. He took the golden plaque of “double-support model city” from the hands of the party and state leaders. This glittering golden plaque full of many embarrassing story of the military support arms Shangwu.
