草地螟(Loxostege sticticalis L.)幼虫蛟食甜菜、大豆等多种作物叶片,严重时将植株地上部全部毁坏,以致造成绝产。1980年黑龙江省较大面积发生了此虫害,1982年又在全省普遍发生。据在阿城、双城、五常、安达、青岗和兰西等县调查,发生面积达四十多万亩,几乎全部甜菜地都有发生。其中受害严重的达47,000亩,绝产的有5,930亩,是近年来我省甜菜生育中期的主要害虫。为了提高防治效果,本年内于草地螟幼虫发生盛期,在阿城县杨树公社民权大队进行药剂防治试验和大面积药剂防治示范,其结果报告如下:
