The vacuum arc under the influence of the axial magnetic field spreads evenly over the entire electrode surface and burns between the electrode areas so that they do not damage the electrode surface. It is well-known that these characteristics of vacuum arc are suitable for the cutting of current. Therefore, in many forms of vacuum circuit breakers today, these characteristics are used to make a commercial product. Many researchers have discussed the basic phenomenon of a vacuum arc under the influence of an axial magnetic field. Morimiya et al. Studied the use of an axial magnetic field to stabilize the vacuum arc between pure copper electrodes. They used the probe electrode to measure the parameters of the plasma zone. Rondeel uses molybdenum and copper electrodes
