一、毫米波技术的特点以及在空间应用中的意义毫米波是介于微波和红外波之间的一个电磁波段。一般认为毫米波的频率划分范围为30~300GHz,相应波长为10~1mm。毫米波设备的特点如下:1)由于频段高、绝对带宽大,因而传输的信息容量大;2)由于波长短,易于实现窄波束,因而测量目标的精度高、分辨能力强;3)因波束窄、带宽大和大气吸收特性,使毫米波信号很难被敌方截获,故工作隐蔽性
