通过对当代世界著名建筑大师詹姆士·斯特林50年代在住宅设计领域活动的分析,反映了他进取、革新的精神。其中所提供的几项设计实例中所表现的设计思想及手法,对于今天中国住宅建筑设计仍有重要的学术参考价值。
Through the analysis of the contemporary world famous architect James Sterling’s activities in the residential design field in the 1950s, he reflected his spirit of progress and innovation. The design ideas and techniques presented in the several design examples provided by the design still have important academic reference value for today’s Chinese residential architectural design.
