随着素质教育的日益深入,学校教育的一个重要组成部分--体育课也随着发生了很大变化,对体育教师提出了更高的要求,要求由过去那种只照本宣科、只会做“苦力型”体育教师,向能钻研教材大纲,适应改革形式,探索新教法、新内容的“学者型”的体育教师转变。所以体育教师要不断吸收新成果的信息,更新知识结构,不断提高自身素质,才能培养和发展学生的创新意识和创造能力,促进学校体育的更快发展。
