新课标明确指出:计算应使学生经历从现实生活中抽象数和简单的数量关系,在具体的情境中理解,并应用所学的知识解决问题的过程,应避免繁杂的运算,避免将运算与应用割裂开来。也就是说,计算教学一方面要让学生在解决问题中获得感受,体验、认识运算的实际意义,并利用问题的现实背景经历、体会探索算法的过程;另一方面,又要让学生用所学的计算解决现实的问题,体会计算的作用和价值。这也是现在的数学教学中急需要解决的一个问题,就是要加强计算教学和解决问题教学的有机结合,即“算”和“用”的有机结合。
