护理系是湖北职业技术学院的特色系之一,现有教师45人,拥有副高级以上职称的15人,在校生600多人,建有系统完整的基础医学实验室、护理模拟实验室、内科护理实验室、外科护理实验室、现代教育技术实验室、多媒体监控室等校内实验实训教学基地,在校外与30多家医院和20多个社区医疗服务点建立了实习实训基地。 护理专业已有50多年的办学历史。高级护理专业2000年被湖北省教育厅确定为省级教学改革试点专业,2002年被教育部门确定为国家教学改革试点专业。
