诚信问题是一个永恒命题,无论中外,无关古今。以日本为例,仁、义、礼、智、信本是儒家的根本,古代日本受中国文化影响极深,礼与信的观念也得到非常广泛的认可。日本民众,因为守礼,往往被世人认为是最有礼貌的民众;而诚信,则被日本公司认定为自己的命根子。一家公司,一旦被公众认为没有诚信,那么不管其规模大小,几乎都没有翻身的机会。日本名门企业雪印集团以及新兴企业活力门的破灭,也从反面证明这一点。
Honesty is an eternal proposition, both at home and abroad, has nothing to do with past and present. In Japan, for example, benevolence, righteousness, courtesy, wisdom and capitalism are the foundation of Confucianism. Ancient Japan was greatly influenced by Chinese culture and the concepts of courtesy and faith were also widely recognized. Japanese people are often regarded as the most polite people because they keep the ceremony, while the good faith is recognized by Japanese companies as their lifeblood. A company, once considered by the public not to be honest, has hardly any chance of turning around, regardless of its size. The collapse of the Japanese-owned company Snowprint Group and the start-ups’ vitality gate also testified on the contrary.
