林风眠的作品一直是海峡两岸拍卖行里的重彩戏,也是各拍卖行必争的作品,其作品在内地拍卖界现身的并不多。2004年香港苏富比秋拍中,林风眠《四美图》以510余万港元成交,同年荣宝公司推出《三美图》仅2.8平方尺,却以429万元成交,平均每平方尺画价高达153万元,创单张作品画价最高成交额纪录。其他上拍的几件林风眠作品,多数价格在20万至30万元之间,其中件《裸女》最后以116万元的价格成交。为此,荣宝在今年下大决心征集到数件林风眠的作品上拍,其中有估价100万元的代表性作品之一《雁归图》和估价80万元的《仕女图》等,力争打破去年的纪录。
