余长春,江苏省睢宁县农业银行桃园营业所内部主任。所里人都叫他“头儿”。他是个最富有人情味的“头儿”。在桃园营业所,谁家里遇到红白事,他必参加;谁思想上有疙瘩,他必去化解;谁工作碰上难题,他总想法帮你解决。1991年年初,所里新来了一名农民合同工,叫肖付成。一天,小肖在食堂吃完午饭,问饮事员:“我欠多少饭钱了?”饮事员答:“12元。”余长春听到后,一声没吭。第二天,他找到营业所魏主任,说:“小肖每月工资只有50元,连吃饭都不够。能不能补助他点?”魏主任同意了。小肖领到补助金,才知道是余长春为他争取的,内心很感动。
