大文豪巴尔扎克考大学时,还足个不谙世事的孩子。由于父亲希望他成为一名律师,他便顺从地报考了某大学的法律系。四年的大学生活,使巴尔扎克迅速成长起来,他的思想也相应地有了很大的改变。毕业之后,他毅然放弃学了四年的法律专业,改向自己喜爱的文坛进军。巴尔扎克的这一举动惹火了满心希望他成为著名律师的老父亲,父亲不但怒不可遏地训斥他不务正业,还卢称如果他再不知悔改,就不再向他提供任何生活费用。
