An analysis is made of the stress distribution and the deformation pattern near the apex of anincompressible rubber wedge under the tension of a concentrated force.The asymptotic method for the tipstress field is developed.The problem is treated as a plane strain case.Finally,the FEM numerical resultsagree with the theoretical ones.
