On February 8, 1996, U.S. President Clinton signed the Telecommunications Act of 1996 (the Telecommunications Act of 1996) to make it a formal law. 1996 The focus of the telecommunication law is to remove administrative regulatory barriers that hinder the competition in the telecommunications market, thereby facilitating the rapid development and promotion of new technologies for users at the lowest cost.
