语言是间性诗学的重要关联域，是不同文化视界融合的媒介。我们对各种不同的文明和文化的理解主要是通过语言而运作的，许多思想家都认识到了语言对人类思想或精神的重要性，而语言并非如西方语言科学主义那样认为的仅仅是一种形式主义的抽象的符号和工具。
