肿瘤复发转移是癌症患者死亡的主要原因。异常糖基化是恶性肿瘤转移的重要机制之一。糖蛋白CD24和多种肿瘤转移相关,它可介导癌细胞和血小板结合,促进肿瘤转移,但具体机制尚不清楚。α1,3岩藻糖基转移酶Ⅶ(FucT-Ⅶ)是一种与肿瘤转移相关的糖链加工酶,作用于糖蛋白、寡糖和糖脂,研究表明其糖基化产物唾液酸化的LewisX(SLeX)在肿瘤中高表达并对CD24的功能起重要作用。FucT-Ⅶ是否通过促进CD24糖基化从而在肿瘤转移中起关键作用让人期待。
Tumor recurrence and metastasis is the leading cause of cancer death. Aberrant glycosylation is one of the important mechanisms of malignant tumor metastasis. Glycoprotein CD24 and a variety of tumor metastasis, which can mediate the combination of cancer cells and platelets, promote tumor metastasis, but the specific mechanism is unclear. α1,3 fucosyltransferase Ⅶ (FucT-Ⅶ) is a carbohydrate-converting enzyme involved in tumor metastasis. It acts on glycoproteins, oligosaccharides and glycolipids and has been shown to catalyze the sialylation of its glycosylated Lewis X (SLeX) is highly expressed in tumors and plays an important role in the function of CD24. FucT-Ⅶ whether through the promotion of CD24 glycosylation and thus play a key role in tumor metastasis is expected.
