Atlanta, United States: There is a report that there is a high incidence of drug addiction in patients receiving enteric-coated enteritis. A study team at New York City’s Lenox Hill Hospital estimates that the incidence of drug addiction in patients with enteritis is 10% or greater, compared with only 6 to 7% in the general population.
